It’s been a full-on week. And this was only hump day.

Mustering yesterday, trucking back almost half and then to find this morning that we are raising Houdinies. Somehow the gates of the yards came open, heifers and steers boxed with maiden heifers, call helicopters again…

Mustering, weaning, feedlot, inducting, loading finished cattle, fixing broken things, feeding, carting cattle in and out, Rach and the kids goes to the Dubbo zoo and the list goes on.

We are so blessed with a great grew. It’s all in a days work. Still smiling at the end of it. And literally and figuratively making lemonade sometimes.

5000hd feedlot
Also have breeders and background cattle.

Position will include
-checking pens for sick cattle
-inductions
-weighing
-loading & unloading trucks
-record keeping
-feeding
-repairs and maintenance in feedlot

-mustering
-calf marking
-drafting

P.S. Mack is not big enough to help me yet. He’s staying with the calves
