Men's Only Chocolate Cake - judged by Show opener and Fat Farmers', Ben Wundersitz, supported by Cookery Convenor Alexandra Lloyd-Smith.

Worth every minute of viewing - surprise results for everyone!

Highlights (in tasting order, right to left of screen)

Cake 1 - tastes like chickpeas and lentils (they were actually choc chips)
Cake 2 - icing in the middle, and flakes on top - bit blokey. Pretty happy with one.
Cake 3 - bit rough, clearly made by a farmer. Suspect the farmer is from Yakka

Seeking larger slices please!

Cake 4 - alright, pretty good. Smooth, no lentils, no rocks. Icing is good.
Cake 5 - Looks like Old Kelpie S**t. Not a wine guy, won't spit it out. Complete under dog 💩
Cake 6 - Cobra stripes - the sugar is strong!

Congratulations Rex, Nick and Hayden!

Rex is a long time Show Goer in the Northern region, won some other cooking classes, and poultry exhibits. He also self-declared his cake was under baked 🤦
Nick won the prize last year and is our Poultry Convenor. Loves the banter of it all!
This was Hayden's second cake ever! And his cabbage in F&V was top notch. You'll be hooked in Show life now!

Last, but not least...Sarge's was the lentil cake. It's a new recipe. We'll be there next year to see what he does next.

Fat Farmers - what a great initiative, and we were thrilled to support the movement at the Crystal Brook Show last Saturday. Free Health Checks at the Health Hub to ensure our farmers are looking after themselves (and each other).

The Show was opened by Fat Farmers co-founder Ben "Wundy" Wundersitz, who is the current SA Grain Producer of the Year. Wundy also took out Champion Ute of the Show...but also judged the Men's Only Chocolate Cake (video for this coming soon!). Thanks mate - you're a true all-rounder.

There were over 250 individual winners - and $28,000 cash and prizes given out! Thank you to our very generous Show supporters who donate their prize money back to the Show - it fills our heart!
