Established in 1888, our school is located in central Croydon on a bushland site of four hectares, within a culturally and socially diverse community. We pride ourselves on engaging our students with challenging learning experiences that cater for the wide variety of individual needs. We have nine classes with a student population of approximately 170. We work extensively with our school community
and parents to provide a high standard of education. We are well supported by an excellent School Council, an active Parents Club and community volunteers. Teaching teams work together at all levels of the school to plan and deliver an extensive curriculum that promotes student development. We place great emphasis on both academic achievement and each child’s personal development. Specialist programs are offered in the areas of Visual Arts, Performing Arts and Languages (Indonesian and German). The following values underpin all that we do as a school community: team work, resilience, a positive attitude, caring and integrity. We are a learning community; large enough to offer students choice and opportunity and small enough to know and care for each individual student. We always welcome the support of parents, as this strengthens the links between school and home.
