๐ Hyperindependence in Women ๐
Hyperindependence, also known as "keeping busy," doesn't just stop with scheduling tasks or relaxation. ๐๏ธ This trauma coping mechanism often stems from adverse childhood experiences or neglect, leading to extreme stress and burnout. ๐ Being organized only addresses the problem on the surface.
โจ Over two years ago, I suffered from burnout and major health problems. It wasnโt until I made significant changes in my lifeโasking for help, looking after myself, identifying the source of the problem, dealing with the limiting beliefs, and learning to delegateโthat I truly began to heal. โค๏ธ
โจ Did you know there are three simple steps to tackle hyperindependence? โจ
1๏ธโฃ Identify the Source: Recognize the root cause of the wound or neglect.
2๏ธโฃ Let Go of Limiting Beliefs: Release the negative beliefs attached to that wound.

1. **Meet Your Body's Needs**: Commit to regular self-care. Cut back on consuming gluten, alcohol, processed foods, and sugars to avoid chronic systemic inflammation. ๐
2. **Prioritize Whole Foods**: Whenever possible, choose nutrient-rich whole foods to fuel your body's cells. ๐ฅฆ๐ฅ

๐๐ผ Let me share how I learned the deep connection between past traumas and our daily behaviors. ๐ We all experience difficult events in life, whether big or small. ๐ What I've realized is that these experiences can shape how we see the world around us - a phenomenon known as confirmation bias.
๐ For example, if someone was betrayed by a close friend, they may start to distrust people more easily.
๐ Or if they faced a lot of criticism growing up, they might be overly self-critical as an adult.
๐ It was through self-reflection, research, and personal growth that I uncovered how my own past experiences were influencing my thoughts, feelings, and actions on a daily basis.
๐ญ Some habits or reactions no longer served me.
๐ซ The good news?
