🍋🥛 Little Scientists at Work — Making Cottage Cheese! 🔬✨
It all started with a simple question during morning tea: "What would happen if we added orange to milk?" 🍊

Our curious little scientists got straight to work — pouring, squeezing, and carefully observing! First we tried orange juice… and waited… but nothing happened! 🤔

"Maybe orange is not that citrusy!" — so we switched to lemon juice, and WOW!

🌟 Before our eyes, the milk began to curdle, forming little white curds that we strained through a paper towel — with clear liquid collecting underneath!

"It's lemon yogurt!" 😄
"It's strawberry yogurt!" 🍓

(We'll need to add strawberries for that one!) 😂

Through this beautiful inquiry, our little ones experienced real science in action — predicting, testing, observing, revising, and discovering — all before morning tea was over! 💛

What an incredible reminder that curiosity, a cup of milk, and a squeeze of lemon can spark the most amazing learning! 🍋🥛

🌟 What an amazing week of learning, laughter, and growing together! 💛

Our little ones have been busy exploring music and movement, nature, art, numbers, and so much more! 🎵🌿🎨🔢

From dancing and discovering musical instruments 🎶, to building shapes in the sandpit and with blocks 🏗️, our curious learners were engaged and beaming with joy all week long!

We visited our very own lemon tree in the garden 🍋, got our hands colourfully painted to create the most beautiful prints 🖐️🎨, and threaded colourful wool through cardboard to create gorgeous artwork! 🌈

To wrap up the week, our little mathematicians proudly made numbers using pom poms and excitedly called them out — the enthusiasm was absolutely contagious! 🔢✨

Every single day was filled with curiosity, creativity, friendship, and so much joy! We are so proud of all our little learners! 💚🌟

Tiny hands have been squeezing lemons and exploring pipettes, discovering textures, smells, and cause and effect in the most adorable ways! 🌿👃

From colourful painting to chalk creations, our budding artists have
been expressing themselves with so much joy and imagination! 🎨

Music time has been an absolute highlight — dancing, singing action songs, and exploring instruments together, filling our room with the sweetest sounds! 🎵🥁

Add in sensory play, outdoor adventures, and plenty of giggles with friends — it has truly been a magical few days of learning through play! 🌈💛

We love watching these little ones light up with curiosity and wonder every single day! 🌟

Our little learners have been exploring healthy eating 🍎, discovering how roots help plants drink and grow 🌿, and diving deep into the amazing life cycle of frogs — from tiny frogspawn all the way to leaping adults!

Our beloved puppet "Squashy" sparked some beautiful conversations about why tadpoles live in water while frogs can live on both land and water — the questions these little minds ask never cease to amaze us! 🤩

Most heartwarming of all, our children showed incredible empathy for our environment 💚 — discussing how plastic and pollution harm wildlife, and coming up with their own solutions like using bins and reducing plastic packaging. Future environmental champions in the making!

Our big question — "What happens when things change, and how can we understand it?" — took us on an amazing journey into the world of insects and animals eyes!

🤯 Our curious learners discovered this and so much more, diving deep into questions like "How many eyes does a spider have?" and "Why do cockroaches need so many eyes?" Through books, pictures, and lively discussions, our little ones are thinking, questioning, and discovering just like real scientists!

We've also been exploring the wonderful world of drawing — experimenting with straight lines, zig-zags, curves, and circles as our little ones grow in confidence and creativity!

Our little ones have been busy exploring in so many beautiful ways — squishing and moulding clay with loose parts and corks 🏺,
playing with vibrant playdough and craft sticks, and getting their hands into gorgeous sensory trays filled with feathers, wool, and Easter-themed treasures

Outdoors, our toddlers enjoyed nature play with leaves and paintbrushes, and some energetic ball play in the fresh air!

Back inside, our babies were busy exploring colourful scarves, pipe cleaners, books, and beautiful natural materials — all with wide eyes and curious little hands

🌈 What a wonderful week of learning and fun! 🌈

This week our little learners explored a range of exciting activities that supported their growth and development.
They listened to stories 📚, painted colourful rainbows 🎨, and made their own playdough from scratch! During music time, they danced and discovered different instruments 🎶, and during pretend doctor play they showed so much care and imagination 🩺.

Learning letters and numbers with flash cards, kicking goals on the sports field ⚽, and exploring the sandpit were also highlights of the week — all while building confidence, teamwork, and early literacy skills along the way.

We love watching our children learn, grow, and shine every day! ✨

🌟 A beautiful first day! We had a very special little one join our childcare family today, and what a wonderful start it has been!

After a lovely restful morning nap and a full tummy, our newest little friend jumped right into the fun — joining in with music time and expressing her creativity through painting!

🎨🎵 She showed such curiosity and interest in everything around her, which was just gorgeous to see!
It was especially heartwarming to watch her recognise her new friends and even share a little chat with one of them — already making connections and settling in beautifully!

She appeared happy, engaged, and right at home as she explored her new environment throughout the day. We truly could not have asked for a more wonderful first day!
We are so delighted to welcome her into our family and cannot wait to watch her grow, learn, and flourish in our care!

Our ongoing canvas project has been a highlight! Over the past few weeks, children have explored painting with one colour, then two — observing how colours mix and layer to create something beautiful.

This week we introduced an exciting new element — sticks and leaves as natural paintbrushes! 🍃🌿

The children were fascinated by the unique textures and patterns they could create using nature's own tools. Absolutely magical to watch! ✨
