A huge congratulations to everyone who performed in our Adult Band Program end-of-season gigs. After 15 weeks of rehearsals, the bands took the stage with passion, courage and joy and absolutely brought the house to life.

🐣 Easter Guitar Challenge (for the serious players…) 🎸
If you’re looking to level up your playing over the Easter break this one’s for you.
Our coach Ewan has dropped a powerful (and advanced) concept: Turning your major scale shapes into chords, arpeggios and harmony across the fretboard
Most players learn scales…
But the magic happens when you start to see what’s inside them.
Here’s the idea:
🎵 Start with the scale
🎵 Then play it in thirds (skip a note each time)
🎵 Then extend that into triads
🎵 Then into 7th chords
Suddenly you’re not just playing scales, you’re unlocking:
✔️ Major, minor & diminished harmony
✔️ 7th chord voicings
✔️ Better fretboard awareness
✔️ A much deeper musical ear
Practice tip:
Don’t rush it. Get comfortable with each step before moving on.
Want a real challenge?
Try playing the 7th chord arpeggios backwards… or start mid-scale and work both directions.
Perfect for a quiet moment between chocolate eggs and hot cross buns 😄
