Good luck to Asher, Boston and River from Year 6, who are competing at the NSWPSSA Rugby Union Championships in Mudgee this week!

Also shout-out to Cade M, who was also selected for the team but unfortunately had to withdraw due to injury.

🌟 POP: Proud of Our People – CREATE! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of five of our talented students who were selected through audition to participate in CREATE, a local schools initiative that brings students together for a four-day creative workshop experience.

Through CREATE, students work alongside specialist teachers and industry professionals to develop their skills in dance, drama, visual arts, technology, choir and band, collaborating to create a high-quality, integrated musical performance in a professional performance venue.

Congratulations to our talented students who were selected and participated in the four-day workshops:

🎶 Evangeline – Choir

Being selected through audition is an incredible achievement, and we are so proud of the way these students embraced the opportunity to learn, collaborate and perform alongside students from other local schools.

🏆 Proud of Our People ⛳

Congratulations to Jayden on an outstanding performance at the 2026 NSW PSSA State Championships for Golf in Tamworth!

Representing the Sydney East team in his first representative golf experience, Jayden competed alongside 88 primary school golfers across three days.

On Day 1, Jayden and his three Sydney East teammates secured an impressive 3rd place in the Ambrose Nett Boys event, finishing among 26 teams.

On Day 2, Jayden shot an incredible round of 88 off a -10 handicap in the Individual competition, earning 1st place and the title of 2026 NSW PSSA Individual Strokeplay – Nett Boys Champion! 🏆

The Sydney East team also achieved 2nd place overall in the Nett division.

As if that wasn't enough, Jayden was also honoured by his teammates with the Player's Player award — a wonderful recognition of his sportsmanship, teamwork and character.

Well done, Jayden. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and the way you represented our school.

🏉 POP: Proud of Our People – Edition 2! 🏉

This week, Cronulla Public School is incredibly proud to have three students representing NSW at the School Sport Australia Rugby League Championships in Ballina.

It is an outstanding achievement to have three of our students selected to represent their state, and even more impressive to see them taking on such important positions:

🏉 Asher S: Dummy Half
🏉 River S: Five-eighth
🏉 Boston KH: Fullback

Best of luck to Asher, River and Boston as they take on some of the best young rugby league players from across Australia. We are incredibly proud of you boys and wish you all the very best for the Championships.

Play hard, enjoy the experience and represent NSW and Cronulla Public School with pride.
