Epic action today on super sized dinosaur🦕flapasaurus🦑🦑🦑goopers.

Weather turned it on💯🍃⛅️🌤️for Daniel & crew, who’d travelled across from Geelong this morn🌅

They had some great action over the trip with a super🫯🔥🫯active🦑bite.
Amongst this they were able to extract a great sized gummy🦈shark which added to their growing 🪎bounty in the chill❄️bag.

Top feed & the guys were generous enough to gift a few👐🏻🦑🦑my way which was most appreciated💯🇦🇺

Rare solo trip this morning after cancelling-rescheduling📙 an offshore trip due to💨growing winds down south.
Had some good 🎣🫯🔥action on gummy🦈shark with one around the 16kg range⚖️ & a smaller model a little later on.

Typically most shark are kept on charters-the decision is always up to the client.
Some prefer to release them, which is a great idea💯✅& something I’ll always fully support💯🇦🇺

Today both were released👐🏻♻️after some quick snaps📸n clips🎥

If you’re going to release larger shark-which often will be heavily in pup at this stage of the season, please, do take the time to ensure they are revived properly.
It can take a long time⏰
Not 1-2 -3 mins ‼️❗️‼️

It may take 10-12 min plus⏳⌛️ -which is a lengthy period to be holding a shark into the current to allow it to regain-revive itself🫀properly before letting her go.

💯Totally worth it though as these will eventually find someone else’s baits hopefully & give another angler a great experience & possibly a top few 🍽️feeds if kept.

The larger gummy this morn was held boat🛟side for around 5-6 mins before she swam down on an even keel✅
Tired alright but she’ll survive & thrive.
So that’s all done n dusted😃

It’s worth restoring rather than replacing at this stage, as it’s in great condition otherwise given it’s around 8-9yr old easily.
