On Thursday, the Marimba Taters visited our school to perform for our students and lead us through an interactive dance workshop. Some of our students also had the exciting opportunity to have a go at playing the marimba!

The Marimba Taters are a talented group of Year 5/6 students from Tate Street Primary School in Geelong who tour and perform for schools and communities.

A huge thank you to CresFest for organising this wonderful opportunity for our students to experience live music, dance and performance!

Come along tomorrow morning to Little Kookaburras Playgroup at Creswick Primary School! Everybody is welcome!

Our Year 5/6 students have officially launched into our exciting Passions & Pathways program!

This student-centred program is designed to support learners in exploring their interests, strengths and future possibilities through a range of engaging, real-world experiences. Throughout the term, students will take part in a variety of incursions and excursions that provide insight into different industries, career pathways and further education opportunities.

On Wednesday, our students travelled to La Trobe University, Bendigo TAFE and Bendigo Tech School, where they participated in hands-on activities across fields including paramedicine, criminology, biomedical science, outdoor education, coding and robotics.

These experiences help build confidence, independence and goal-setting skills, while encouraging curiosity, creativity and teamwork. It was fantastic to see students so engaged and inspired by the many possibilities available beyond primary school!

We are now looking forward to our upcoming Roadshow Excursion, where students will visit a range of local businesses to explore different industries and workplaces in a real-world context.

🌱🍅 Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program 👩‍🍳🍕

We're excited to welcome Andrew "Drew" Dennis to Creswick Primary School as the leader of our cooking component of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.

Students are learning valuable cooking skills, kitchen hygiene, food preparation, and teamwork while creating delicious meals using produce from our school vegetable garden. At the end of each session, students sit down together to enjoy the food they have prepared.

Recently, students also visited the Creswick Neighbourhood Centre to make and cook their own wood-fired pizzas—an experience they thoroughly enjoyed!

Thank you, Drew, for sharing your knowledge and passion with our students. 🌱🍽️
