Our Week 9 & 10 collection items are: unopened pantry goods, non-perishable goods, persoanl care & hygiene, linen & clothing, toilet paper and any other essentials.

Celebrating Father’s Day at SFC 🏉🏀⚽🍟
We were delighted to welcome families to our annual Father’s Day celebration, recognising and honouring the incredible dads, grandads, carers and special men in our community.

Our talented Year 11 and 12 Hospitality students served afternoon tea while families enjoyed craft activities, and sporting games.

Thank you 🙏 to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon such a memorable celebration.

The Sudsy Challenge is complete! 🧡🫧👕
Over the past 3 days, students and staff at St Francis College wore the same clothes to raise awareness and funds for people doing it tough 🤝

By taking on this challenge, our community helped spark important conversations around homelessness while supporting Orange Sky, which provides free mobile laundry and shower services to those in need.

A huge thank you 🙏 to everyone who participated, donated, and cheered us on — your support makes a real difference! 🙌✨

👏✨ Yesterday we came together for our Year 7–12 Assembly, which was filled with celebration, recognition and inspiration as we acknowledged the many achievements of our students and community.

Highlights included:
🏆 SOLE Award recipients
🧠 Opti-MINDS achievements
☕ Certificate II Hospitality recognition
🔨 Certificate I & II Construction recognition
🏥 Certificate III Health Services recognition
🫧 Sudsy Challenge participation and achievements

A special highlight was an important message from Mr Marinucci, encouraging students to reflect on "How are you powering home?" As we move towards the end of the Term, students were challenged to stay focused, maintain positive habits and finish strong, making the most of every learning opportunity.

Our Year 11 Cert II in Construction students are hard at work bringing their projects to life! 🔨🪚💪

They’ve now moved onto plastering, sanding, and applying topping compound as they prepare their walls for window framing, painting, and tiling. Each step is helping them refine their trade skills and gain valuable, hands-on experience across a range of construction practices. 👷‍♂️🎨🧱

Students created shopping lists, counted their coins, worked out the total cost, and decided what they could buy with the money they had. 🛍️💵
