Thursday - snow day!!! This morning our Stage 3 students headed off to Thredbo for a day in the snow.
Our adventurers have had a fantastic trip and will make their journey home tomorrow. Families will be updated on School Bytes throughout the day with details of their return trip.

✨ Five Year 1 students were thrilled to share their Sentence of the Day with Mr Upcroft today! Each sentence started with "A pig rolled..." and the students got creative by coming up with their own endings. After reading their sentences aloud, every student proudly received a Principal’s Award sticker. Great job, Year 1! 🎉

🌟 Last night, our Stage 3 students had an unforgettable adventure at Questacon by Night! 🌌 Questacon is an incredible place where interactive learning experiences inspire a love for science and technology.

Not only did our students dive into exciting activities, but Ms Ingles, Mr D, and Jo also took a thrilling ride on the Free Fall (see video) — a two-storey tall vertical slide where you hang from a bar, let go, and glide down smoothly.

A special shoutout to Jo, who conquered her fear of heights by taking the plunge! She shared with the students how anxious she felt before letting go and how amazing it was to overcome that fear. 🎉

Today, the excitement continues with visits to the National Arboretum, The Deep Space Complex, and Snowy Hydro’s ‘Power Up @ Snowy’ — an action-packed day full of learning and fun! 🚀🌿⚡

🎉 Our Stage 3 students had an action-packed day yesterday, exploring some incredible places including the National Electoral Education Centre, Parliament House, The National Museum of Australia, and the Mt Stromlo Observatory! 🌟

Today promises to be just as exciting with a range of activities lined up, highlighted by the amazing Questacon By Night experience. Stay tuned for more updates from their amazing learning adventures! 🚀✨

🌧️ On a very damp Sunday night, our Stage 3 students boarded the bus and set off on their Canberra and Snow excursion. They arrived safely this morning and are already busy exploring their exciting itinerary. According to Jo, who is accompanying the students, they are having an AWESOME time so far!
