🏁 FRANK PURCELL ENDURO – FINAL INSTRUCTIONS 🏁

We’re almost ready to go! Here are a few important reminders for Sunday.

πŸ“‹ SIGN ON & SCRUTINEERING
Riders must sign on with the Race Secretary before entering the scrutineering line. Riders must be present with their bike, dressed ready to ride, with their helmet and body armour.

🏁 RACE FORMAT
β€’ Group 1: 1.5hr Cross Country + compulsory fuel stop
β€’ Group 2: 1hr Cross Country + compulsory fuel stop
β€’ Group 3: 50min Cross Country – 2 x 20min sessions with a compulsory 10min stop
β€’ Nippers: Separate enduro track

⚠️ NO SIGHTING LAP – riders should use their first lap as their sighting lap and pace themselves. This is an ENDURANCE race!

β›½ FUEL STOPS
Groups 1 & 2 must complete at least one compulsory fuel stop during their race. Bikes must be stopped on an Enviro mat, engine off and rider dismounted while refuelling.

🚦 DEAD ENGINE START
Bikes are started once the green flag drops. If a parent is needed to start a bike, they must wait until the other riders in their class have left the start line or 20 seconds has passed.

🚫 IMPORTANT SITE RULES
β€’ No pushbikes
β€’ No animals (assistance animals accepted with valid paperwork)
β€’ No motorbikes ridden in the carpark or outside the pit area/event grounds.

πŸ” CANTEEN
The canteen will be operating all day with a limited menu.

This round will be run in our Enduro Cross Country format, with riders battling it out on the enduro loops for the allocated race time.

A separate enduro track and format, similar to a normal ride day. Nippers are to arrive for the Group 1 riders briefing.

πŸ† DIVISION 2 RIDERS

Div 2 riders will compete within their main class and will score place points behind all Div 1 riders. Div 2 is designed to provide a course more suited to riders who are less confident or experienced with the enduro format.

⏱️ NEW TRANSPONDER SYSTEM

We will also be introducing our new transponder system for this round and all future rounds.

The new transponders are:
βœ”οΈ Hard plastic
βœ”οΈ Waterproof
βœ”οΈ No charging required
βœ”οΈ No ongoing subscription
βœ”οΈ Compatible with Motosponder systems used by many other clubs

A removable and washable neoprene fork sleeve has also been developed to securely hold the transponder.

πŸ’° Transponder + sleeve: $35
All riders from 50cc through to JBW (excluding Nippers) will need to purchase one.

Already have a compatible transponder from Lakes or Maitland? You can use that one and don't need to purchase another.
