Marnebek Students Giving Back!

We are incredibly proud of our students who recently represented Marnebek while volunteering with FareShare / SecondBite, an Australian charity that rescues surplus food and helps turn it into nutritious meals for people experiencing food insecurity.

Working alongside Chef Justin in the FareShare Schools’ commercial kitchen, our students rolled up their sleeves and got straight to work, carefully weighing and packing almost 1,000 meals!

It was a fantastic opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience, work as a team and make a meaningful contribution to the wider community.

Our students worked diligently throughout the day and represented Marnebek wonderfully. They should be extremely proud of their incredible efforts - well done!

A few weeks ago, Marnebek student, Jaxx, had the incredible opportunity to be a part of the Fox FM Underdogs Team! 🏉💙

It was such a special experience, with Jaxx getting to soak up all the excitement of the day and be part of an unforgettable event.

We’re so excited to finally share a few photos from the day — and judging by that smile, we think it’s safe to say Jaxx had an amazing time! 🌟

A huge thank you to Fifi, Fev & Nick, The Fox 101.9 and everyone involved in the Underdogs Game for creating such a memorable experience for Jaxx and all of the children involved. Moments like these are pretty special!

A great day starts with a great breakfast! 💛

Did you know that our Breakfast Club runs Tuesday and Thursday mornings each week, giving students the opportunity to start their day with a nutritious breakfast in a welcoming and relaxed environment?

Breakfast Club is about more than just food. It’s a chance for students to connect with friends and staff, build positive routines and arrive in class ready to learn.

We love seeing our students come together over breakfast and start their morning with full tummies and smiling faces! 😊

A big thank you to the wonderful staff who help make Breakfast Club possible each week. 🥣🍎

Our Snow Camp has been an absolute hit! ❄️⛄

This marks the first time we've attended as a school camp, and for many of our students it was also their very first experience in the snow. From skiing to snowboarding, it's been a week full of smiles, laughter and unforgettable memories.

Today our Prep team fast-forwarded a few decades to celebrate 100 Days of School! 👵👴🎉

Our incredible teachers and education support staff embraced the occasion by dressing as their "100-year-old selves," bringing plenty of laughter and smiles to the celebrations.

Reaching 100 days of learning is a special milestone for our Prep students. Over the past 100 days they have grown in confidence, built new friendships, developed important skills and achieved so much. We couldn't be prouder of everything they've accomplished!

100 Days Wiser!

Today our incredible Prep students are celebrating 100 Days of School! 💯

Over the past 100 days, our youngest learners have shown amazing growth, building confidence, making new friendships and developing new skills every single day. From learning letters and numbers to exploring, creating and achieving milestones, they have so much to be proud of.

The day was filled with fun activities, lots of laughter and, of course, some fantastic costumes as our students and staff embraced the celebration!

A huge congratulations to our Prep students on reaching this exciting milestone. We can't wait to see all that you achieve in the next 100 days! 🌟

Therapy Dog sessions can provide students with a calm and supportive environment where they can build confidence, practice communication and social skills, develop emotional regulation, reduce stress and anxiety, and simply enjoy the comfort and companionship that comes from spending time with a gentle, friendly dog. 🐶💕

For some students, a session with Marle can be a welcome opportunity to pause, connect and feel supported - helping them to return to their learning feeling calmer, more confident and ready to engage.

A huge congratulations to our Year 9/10C student, Alisha, who recently represented our school at the State Cross Country Championships.

While competing, Alisha noticed a student from another school who was struggling to continue. Without hesitation, she stopped her own race to offer words of encouragement and support, helping the student regain the confidence to keep going and successfully finish the event.

Although it meant sacrificing her own race, Alisha demonstrated something far greater than athletic achievement—she showed compassion, kindness and outstanding sportsmanship.

We are incredibly proud of Alisha for embodying our school values and reminding us all that success isn't always measured by where you finish, but by the difference you make to others.

Well done, Alisha! You are an inspiration to our entire school community ✨
