Silly Socks September! 🧦

Today, our students wore their silly socks to school, and it was so much fun to see all the creative and colourful designs on display!

Thank you to everyone who supported this wonderful cause. All proceeds from the Silly Socks purchases will be donated to Catholic Mission. Your support helps make a difference, and we are grateful for your generosity.

The story highlights Catherine's Pantry, a community initiative providing essential items to local families with dignity, care and compassion. This project is a reflection of the generosity of our school community and the commitment of our students, staff and families to making a real difference.

Yesterday during Prayer, we proudly announced the Catherine McAuley School ArchD Podcast Team of the Year.

Congratulations to Riley, Tyler and Davide, who earned this recognition for their narrative podcast, Crazy Christmas Stories.

💙 National Child Protection Week is a time for all Australians to come together and focus on how we can help keep children and young people safe, supported and heard. Protecting children is everyone's business, and we all have a role to play, whether as parents, carers, educators, community members, service providers, policymakers or neighbours.

This year, the focus is on shifting conversation into action. By listening to children and young people, strengthening families and communities, and turning awareness into meaningful action, we can help create environments where every child is valued, respected and able to thrive.

📚💙 A huge thank you to our CMS students, families, and staff for supporting our 2026 Great Book Swap!

Together, we helped raise funds for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, supporting access to books, literacy resources, and stories for children in remote Communities across Australia. Thank you for your generosity and enthusiasm in making this event such a wonderful success.

Congratulations to Grace from RM! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Grace from RM, who has helped lead the way in our Catherine McAuley Fun Run Fundraiser and earned the prize for being part of the class that raised the most funds during the first week of fundraising!

As a reward for their fantastic fundraising efforts, Grace received a packet of delicious Quelch icy bars. 🍧

Thank you to all of our students and families for your incredible support of this year's Fun Run. Every donation helps make a difference, and we're excited to continue the journey towards our big event on Thursday 24 September!
