Kathleen will be joining Gamadji Primary School as a classroom teacher. We can’t wait for our students and families to meet her!

✨ What’s your favourite thing to do on the weekend? My favourite thing to do on the weekend is spending time with my family. We love to go on hikes, walk our dog Wolfie, and go to our favourite café.

📚 What’s your favourite children’s book? My favourite children’s book is ‘Magic Beach’ by Alison Lester as it reminds me of my childhood and time spent at the beach.

🌱 What are you most looking forward to next year? Next year I am most looking forward to building positive relationships with our students and families. I am very excited to be starting at a brand new school and look forward to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Last week, our teachers came together for an exciting professional learning day as we began shaping the foundations of our new school. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, collaborate, and start our journey as one team.

Across the day, we:

🏫 Spent time in our new learning spaces, talking about how they will support curiosity, creativity, and growth
🤝 Started building the positive, inclusive culture that will sit at the heart of our school community
