Hello & Happy Spring to my friends of Hume, Whittlesea, Darebin and surrounds :) .

It has been a few years now since I was working as an in home Nanny and babysitter as I have been working in before and after school care (OSHC) and had other passions to pursue the past few years, as well as the lockdowns making it a bit tricky.

However, I am back!

I have had almost 20 years experience working with children from newborn up to 16 years old.
I have worked with families who work in the home and also families who travel for work. I am comfortable and confident in either situation :) .

I am incredibly passionate about caring & educating young children and believe learning through play starts from a very young age.
I love to observe and plan activities for your little ones based on their age & development levels and always strive for ways to help them excel!

I am happy to help children with home readers & homework and have quite a bit of experience caring for neurodivergent children with Autism & ADHD amongst other conditions.

I am patient and understanding of some unique challenges children can bring and always up for finding what works, what doesn't & working with families bring out the best in their children.

At this stage I am available majority of weekends (Friday's from 7pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am til late) and weekday evenings on a case by case basis.

To all of my regular and casual babysitting families,

Due to recent major surgery on my knee, I am currently out of action and unavailable for babysitting. I am hoping to be back with your beautiful families in May or June 2017 after a period of recovery and strength building of my knee so that I am in tip top shape to be chasing your little ones around again. I will post again when I have more of an idea of dates but until then, I wish you all well and please feel free to PM me and let me know how your little ones are doing. It feels as though Spring is trying very hard to show itself this past week after a very long Winter. I know the children at my Mon-Fri Nanny job are loving being able to get outside, ride bikes and scooters, swim in the pool and run around outside!

Due to change of hours with my current families, my availabilities have changed and I am opening up weekends for the festive season! Do you have a Christmas/End of year party coming up for work? Please contact me ASAP to guarentee I am free on the date you need :)

I am really loving our after school reading time with Miss 9 at the moment. She is loving new books, challenging books, expressive books. I am enjoying having her explain the story so far and having her enthuastic guessing what may come next!

This is extremley important.
Don't make home readers seem like a chore. Make it fun! Funny! Use expression when reading with your preppy. Buy books on topics that interest them. So so important.
