Our next Ladies Get into Golf Program starts this coming Wednesday 26 August.

We still have several spots available in this class, which will merge for the 5 weeks with the existing Ladies clinic.

We're excited today to launch our new ProteeVX simulator system! After a bunch of testing, we're happy with the results and think you will be too!

The ProteeVX is an overhead, ceiling-mounted launch monitor that measures every metric you could possibly want, to provide a very high-end user experience. It also means now that lefties and righties can play together without any issues.

For lessons, the native Protee Labs software integrates directly with our high-speed cameras and also records impact (it's really cool to see a shank in slow motion btw!), giving the opportunity to provide instant feedback. This is also invaluable for those using it for a practice session.

For simulation, we have paired the VX with industry-leading software GSPro, which offers hundreds of real and fictional courses with stunning graphics and realistic physics. The most famous of all being a certain course in Georgia that shall remain nameless 😏👀👀🌺🌸🌺🌸

We will also be looking to startup a weekly or monthly league, as well as run nearest to pin contests as we move into Business House season.

You'll also be pleased to know that pricing will remain unchanged, so why not get a bunch of mates together and try it out!

**Member Cart Servicing**

Club Car will return this September to conduct routine fleet maintenance on the club's carts, and will again offer servicing of members carts while they are here.

The date for member servicing is Wednesday September 30th, which might possibly extend into Thursday 1st October if required.

Service Request Forms must be completed and sent to Club Car by 1st September. If this is a service you would like to take advantage of, please come and see us.

UPCOMING FITTING DAYS

If you're looking for new clubs, we have two upcoming fitting days you may be interested in!

TUESDAY 18 August - James from Mizuno Golf will be coming to showcase their latest line of high end equipment including the gorgeous new irons and wedges, as well as putters and woods. Bookings are essential, 10am thru 2pm.

WEDNESDAY 9 September - Des from Wilson Golf will fit you into a set of what has arguably been the best iron release of the year. Wilson Staff woods are seriously underrated as well 🔥🔥 Des will be using Wilson's new FitAI program to dial in the right shaft and head combination for your game! Bookings available 10am thru 2pm.

Please see attached documents for information regarding our clinics for Term 3.

The Girls AGF Scholarship Program will commence next Tuesday 28th July, 4pm

Unfortunately James will be away next Wednesday, so both the Junior and Ladies clinics will start in Week 3, August 5th. The upfront term cost has been reduced to reflect the lower number of clinics this term.

Ladies Give Golf a Go (commencing in Week 6, Term 3) may interrupt the Wednesday Ladies class, or they may merge, this will be determined by registrations for the GiG program and will be communicated as necessary.

We're excited to announce that Expressions of Interest are open for the next edition of the Ladies Get into Golf program!

This is a fun and engaging program designed for beginner ladies looking to learn the fundamentals of the game and meet like-minded people to take their next steps with.

As with last year, it will be a 5-week program and commence from Week 6 of the upcoming school term (Term 3).

Times and dates will be announced once we gauge interest. The goal is to offer at least one weekday afternoon and one weekend morning session.

Both the Pro Shop and Cowra Golf Club would like to congratulate junior Willa Seears on her achievements over the last few months.

Despite only playing the game for approximately one year, Willa has lowered her handicap by 22 strokes since her first comp round in September, breaking 90 for the first time in May and then finished only 1 stroke back over the 36 holes of the Ladies Open in June.

To top this off she recently undertook her first foray into representative competition golf at the NSW CHS schools championships at the very difficult Magenta Shores golf club two weeks ago, showing tremendous growth and determination by lowering her score every day across the three rounds.

Willa is also a member of the 2026 AGF Girls Scholarship program and I was recently delighted to present to her a pair of shoes donated by FootJoy to reward her commitment and engagement in this program. Willa is a great role model and leader for the other younger girls and it is a pleasure to see her very rapid development!
