💛💚 Nurturing Curiosity in Science Week 💚💛
Flames, safety glasses and mad scientists ... things were loud, fun, and messy during National Science Week at St Raph's! It was wonderful to watch our K-6 students collaborate, ask big questions, and celebrate their discoveries through the power of practical learning.

💜 💜St Raph's Says No Way! to Bullying 💜💜
This week, students and staff came together to reaffirm our zero-tolerance stance against bullying, reaffirming that: 𝒮𝓂𝒶𝓁𝓁 𝒜𝒸𝓉𝓈 = 𝐵𝒾𝑔 𝐼𝓂𝓅𝒶𝒸𝓉.

Together, we're building a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where every student feels valued. Thank you to everyone who participated and showed that even the smallest act of kindness can make a huge difference! 🤝✨

💛💚 Another fantastic week at St Raph’s! 💚💛

Following our wonderful Seikei visit earlier this month, we were equally thrilled to welcome back visiting students from Shiroishi City, from Miyagi Prefecture in northern Japan for their annual stay with us!

Our exchange brought the St Raph's community together for a traditional Aussie BBQ, where host families and students gathered for a delicious dinner and an all-in game of Grid Ball.

The Shiroishi students also spent time with our Year 2 class where our infants sang a special song and read their readers to our guests, while the Shiroishi students showed them how to write their names in Japanese.😊🎉

Thank you to everyone in our school community who helped make our Japanese guests feel so welcome! 🌏

💛💚 Exemplary Science win for St Raph's! 💚💛
Huge congratulations to Viv, Grace, and Ruby, who have officially taken out the Rural Area Prize in the 2026 Think Science Competition hosted by Australia's Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation, ANSTO! 🏆🧪

For their entry, the girls conducted a hands-on scientific investigation to find out which liquid prevents apples from turning brown - combining smart inquiry skills with fantastic presentation! What a stellar achievement and an inspiring way to kick off National Science Week. 🔬🚀

A massive thank you to ANSTO for this wonderful honour and for supporting young scientists across rural Australia. We are so proud of you, girls! 👏🎉
