Cowra Art Group Inc Spinners & Weavers held a small spin-a-long Le Tour de Fleece competition in July to coincide with the Le Tour de France bike race. Elisha who is one of our Spinners choose the following categories for our Tour.
- Spin oldest fleece in stash - oldest stash item wins.
- Photo spinning at most interesting/creative/funny place.
- Most interesting fibre spun.
- Completed item start to finish.
- Most lumpy or thickest skein
- Softest skein

We had a lovely workshop today making fabric flowers taught by Joy from Robynette Fabric Salon, Young.
A great day was had by all. We had some delicious cake and slices for morning tea and homemade soups for lunch. Some beautiful flowers were created.

Went to Canowindra today to see the Quilt Show at the All Saints’ Anglican Church, 5 Church Street, Canowindra today.
Absolutely beautiful quilts by some very talented people.
And, the church itself is stunning.
Congratulations to the organisers.
Well worth a trip to Canowindra this week for the Balloon Festival.
