Students across K–6 marked National Science Week with a vibrant design‑thinking challenge, transforming real‑world waste issues into practical, hands‑on solutions.

They were tasked with designing and building a prototype machine to help households better manage their waste.

Working collaboratively, students engineered imaginative and functional creations using recycled materials brought from home, showcasing impressive STEM skills and creative problem‑solving.

On friday we enjoyed some delicious crossiants with ham and cheese all thanks to Mission Australia.

On Tuesday, our little legends headed to Coffs Harbour to compete in the MNC Athletics Carnival. They ran their hearts out and proudly placed 2nd in their relay race. We are so impressed with their effort, determination, and sportsmanship.

They’ll be back on the track again soon on Monday, 7th September, when they travel to Kingscliff for their next carnival.

Go team Cowper!
