Join us in celebrating the 6th Annual United Nations Girls and Women in Science Day. We caught up with Dr Lynise Wearne, the Director of our program to find out what being a woman in science means to her.

"It has been the pinnacle of my career to be in a place to bring science and on-ground impact together, and do it at a scale that makes a difference.

As a women in science, there have been numerous times where I am the only female representation in the room.

I certainly hope by leading from the front as a women, and taking on all the challenges presented that I inspire other females to come forward and follow their passion."
