📚 BOOK WEEK REMINDER! 📚

Don't forget our Book Week celebrations are happening this Wednesday!

Book Character Parade – 9:00am
Students are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book character! Parents, grandparents and families are warmly invited to come along for the morning.

Book Week Rotations – 9:30–11:00am
Students will rotate in their class groups through three fun activities with our three teachers:

🔎 Scavenger Hunt with Mrs McGarvie
🎨 Craft with Miss Chellew
👩‍🍳 Cooking with Miss Parnell

Teddy Bear Picnic – 11:00am
Following our morning of Book Week activities, we will be enjoying a FREE Teddy Bear Picnic under the trees.

There is no cost for the picnic, however we ask that each student please bring along a small plate of food to share with everyone.

For those attending the Touch Football Gala Day at Rushforth Park tomorrow please wear school shirts, arrive by 9:30 and make sure you pack a hat, food and plenty of water.

Well done to our amazing athletes, Alexis, Frankie, Morgan, Logan and Isabella who represented us today at the MNC Athletics Carnival in Coffs Harbour.
You were all fine representatives of our school and should be proud of your achievements ⭐️

We wish Morgan and Logan the best of luck at the North Coast Championships

Exciting news at Copmanhurst Public School! 💙💛💚

We are introducing Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL), a whole-school approach that supports students to understand and demonstrate our school values - Respectful - Responsible - Safe.

To help launch PBL, we are inviting our students to design our new PBL kangaroo mascot! We chose a kangaroo because it is the animal featured in the Copmanhurst Public School logo and is an important part of our school identity. The winning mascot design will feature on our school's PBL documents and signage!

All students at our school are encouraged to use their creativity to design the kangaroo’s shirt, shorts and hat using our school-value colours of blue, yellow and green. We can’t wait to see the wonderful mascot designs our students create!

A very big shout-out to our P&C! 🌟
Copmanhurst was buzzing on Saturday!
The Clarence Valley Historical Motorcycle Club stopped in at Copmanhurst on Saturday for lunch. They chose our P&C for their catering at the community hall!
Thankyou Clare who organised the lunch, and her band of helpers, Chrissy, Jennifer, Kristy, Lisa, Nicole, and all the families who donated slices and sandwich fillers for the day. Thankyou for supporting our amazing little school 🩵💛
