Claudia and I had the pleasure of attending the 20th Anniversary of the Oceania Taekwondo Union Gala Dinner and Awards. I was honoured to receive an award from WT President Chung Won Choue. Special thanks to OTU President Maher Magableh who made the event possible.

Congratulations to Claudia Tan and Leon Leppert who graded for 7th Dan Kukkiwon. Both had completed a Club / Jidokwan 7th dan grading several years ago, but wanted to upgrade their Kukkiwon rank. Every Tuesday since November, we would do morning training followed by Coffee. The journey is in the training.

Special thanks to GM Brad Tatnell (8 dan) & GM Kijoo Kim (8 dan) for comprising of the hi-dan panel. The grading took place on Chinese New Year.

Many thanks Michael!

I asked chatGPT to suggest a Taekwondo club relatively close by that was suitable for my son's age and what I was looking for (not in a hall, class times we could attend, structured but fun) and your business was top of the list!

Good luck to all students starting the new school year, especially those starting Prep or High school. Over the next few weeks we will be discussing bullying and ways to combat the situation.

It's been 50+ years since I started Taekwondo. Little did I know what an influence Taekwondo would be in shaping my life. I started when I was 7 which is now the average age of our students. Originally perceived as just for adults, the benefits of confidence, discipline, and personal development were later discovered by parents.

In memory of GM Rob Lister.

Our annual fund raising event to support those affected by cancer. Now in our 12th year, we have continually raised more each year. The last few years we have raised over $1000 for the cause. This year we will be raising money for Pankind. https://pankind.org.au/ . Pancreatic cancer begins when cells in the pancreas become abnormal and grow out of control to form a malignant tumour.
