NAIDOC Week Celebrations at QPSC! ✨
We’re excited to announce that all QPSC Metro and Toowoomba campuses will come together to celebrate NAIDOC Week on Thursday, 30th July 2026 at our Bracken Ridge campus!
Stay tuned, more details will be shared in the coming weeks! 🗓️
This year’s theme, 50 Years of Deadly, celebrates a significant milestone. It honours the Elders who stood strong, the organisers who created opportunities for connection and change, the artists who transformed resistance into powerful expression and the communities who continue to show up, year after year, keeping the spirit of NAIDOC alive.

The Principal visits continue and so does the Milo! ☕✨
Our Moreton Bay students were all smiles as they enjoyed this delicious treat.

Earlier this term, our Metro South students attended the Brisbane Careers & Employment Expo. ✨ With over 160 organisations and employers represented, the Expo offered valuable opportunities to explore career pathways, gain expert advice and connect directly with potential employers. Events like this continue to play an important role in supporting our students as they plan for their futures. 🌏

Every Monday, our Mount Isa campus hosts a long lunch during first break, bringing students together to build community, strengthen engagement and develop valuable life skills.
These weekly gatherings promote healthy eating, encourage positive peer connections and provide opportunities for students to develop hospitality soft skills while applying practical maths skills.
This week, we were delighted to welcome our Principal, Kristie, who joined students and staff for the long lunch and experienced firsthand the wonderful sense of community that makes these events so special. 🍎🥪✨

One of our Metro South students has been gaining valuable experience by volunteering with Mission to Seafarers Brisbane. This opportunity provides first-hand insight into the shipping industry and the vital role it plays in Australia. ⛴️
A big thank you to Mission to Seafarers for their warm welcome and for creating such a meaningful learning experience for our students!

This week, we join communities across Australia in recognising and celebrating National Reconciliation Week 2026.
National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements and to reflect on how we can contribute to reconciliation in our everyday lives.
Across our campuses, students and staff are engaging in conversations, learning experiences and activities that honour and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and perspectives.
Reconciliation is built through respect, understanding and action and we are proud to continue fostering a community where every voice, story and culture is valued.
