⭐️🤩 Class Spotlight - 1 Apricot with Mrs Sullivan 🤩⭐️

It has been a busy term of learning for 1 Apricot.

🧠 Students have been busy this week learning about the commutative property of multiplication in maths, using arrays to represent their understanding. 🧮

📚 During literacy sessions, students have been practising their reading skills and also learning to identify and describe how characters might be feeling in parts of a text. ✏️

🍎 Due to a shortage of volunteers, our school canteen will be closed this week. We know this is disappointing for students and families, and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience.

😊 If you’re able to lend a hand, even for a short shift, we’d love to welcome a few more helpers into the canteen team. Every extra pair of hands makes a big difference.

⭐️ Class Spotlight - K Pink with Miss Nightingale ⭐️

Wow what a term K Pink have had, full of so much fun, learning and growth! 🌱

We started the term with an excursion to the zoo, we loved connecting what we had learnt in science to a real-life experience. 🦁

Throughout the term we have participated in lots of group work, learning to work collaboratively. 🤝

This week we celebrate our amazing School Administrative and Support Staff and this year’s theme says it perfectly: “Thriving Schools Start With Us.” 🌟

Our SASS team plays such an important role in supporting our students, staff and families and keeping our school running each and every day. From our amazing office ladies, to our general assistants Steve and Al, our cleaner Trent, AEO Brock and our wonderful SLSO’s who work in our classrooms!

Breakfast orders have now closed, however we would still love for families to join us for our Father’s Day Breakfast morning. Come along and enjoy some special time with your child/children from 7:30am–8:45am on Friday 4th September. We look forward to celebrating the special male figures in our students’ lives.
