Some new faces (and a familiar one!) around CCS!

We’re excited to introduce a few wonderful new faces who have recently joined the CCS team – and welcome one familiar face back into the Centre! Please join us in giving a very warm welcome to Kylie, Flick and Reanne, and a big welcome back to Donna!

Kylie Carey – Director
We’re delighted to officially welcome Kylie on board as our full-time Director. You may have already seen Kylie around the Centre, as she has been working with CCS in a consultancy role since early 2026.

With almost 40 years of experience in the early childhood industry, including owning and operating her own successful early childhood business, Kylie brings an incredible wealth of knowledge, experience and fresh ideas to CCS. We feel very fortunate to have Kylie leading our team and are excited to work alongside her as we continue to grow, develop and achieve some exciting projects and milestones for our Centre, children and families.

Felicity “Flick” Dodd – Educator
We recently welcomed Flick to the CCS team! Flick has been working in early childhood for three years and is currently studying towards her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

A passionate, friendly and enthusiastic educator, Flick has a particular interest in working with toddlers and brings with her some fantastic ideas, programs and skills. We’re so pleased to have her as part of our team!

Reanne Daykin - Educator
A big welcome to Reanne, our new Rainbow Room Educator! Reanne has completed her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and joins CCS with experience in a preschool setting.

She brings a wealth of ideas for engaging, educating and keeping our preschool-aged children busy, curious and learning. We’re excited to see Reanne bring her creativity and experience to the Rainbow Room!

Donna Paulston – Office Administrator
And a big welcome back to Donna, who has returned to her Office Administrator role in person after working remotely for CCS over the past few months – including a stint in Queensland!

Donna and her husband, Mat, along with their two dogs, Byron and Willow, have recently returned to Coonamble after time working in Ayr and Victoria, and we’re very happy to have Donna back in the office. Donna is the friendly lady behind the phone and emails and is often your first point of contact at CCS. We feel extremely lucky to have her extensive accounts experience, knowledge and skills as part of our team.

Please join us in welcoming Kylie, Flick and Reanne, and welcoming Donna back to the Centre. We’re very lucky to have such a great group of people on the CCS team and look forward to all that’s ahead!

🌈 Giving back to our community, one sign at a time. 💛

Designed to create a bright, friendly and welcoming entrance, this custom graphic features cheerful colours and Australian animals. Knowing this sign will greet little faces every day makes it all worthwhile. 🐨🌈🦜

We hope this brightens the entrance for many years to come.

Pyjama Day is happening next week at CCS! One of our favourite days on the calendar!

A big thank you to CTG Aboriginal Health for visiting Coonamble Children's Services today to celebrate NAIDOC Week with our children.

The children enjoyed a special visit where they shared the story of Uncle JJ, a very special local icon and treasured member of our community. Through storytelling, the children learnt about the importance of culture, community, and the lasting impact that special humans have on the lives of those around them.

Thank you to the team at CTG Aboriginal Health for taking the time to celebrate NAIDOC Week with us and for helping create such a meaningful and memorable experience for our children. ❤️💛🖤
