Hello to our families and our local community ☺️

Our Banksia classroom children are thoroughly enjoying learning about reptiles, and over the next few weeks, we’ll be exploring snakes in more detail.

We’re wondering if anyone may have a snakeskin they would be willing to donate for our learning environment? A fairly intact specimen would be ideal, but we would greatly appreciate anything you are happy to share.

Having a real snakeskin to observe and investigate up close would provide a wonderful hands-on learning opportunity for the children.

We’re also happy to arrange collection if needed (though may need to be after hours).

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day from Wattle Montessori 🌸

Today we are sending love and appreciation to all of the wonderful mothers, grandmothers and special people in our Wattle Montessori community.

Thank you for the love, care, patience and support you give your children each day. It is such a privilege to be part of your child’s early learning journey and to share in the little moments, milestones and memories along the way. We hope today is filled with love, cuddles, handmade treasures and a little bit of well-deserved rest.

We hope everyone who joined us enjoyed our Mother’s Day afternoon tea and pamper session this week. It was such a special afternoon watching the children pamper their mums, and show their appreciation.

A big thank you to all of the families who joined us, and to the local businesses who supported our Mother’s Day giveaways and helped make the week feel extra special.

We are also excited to announce that the winner of our Mother’s Day Giveaway is Paige Sundell. Congratulations, Paige! 🌷

This week at Wattle Montessori, we had an eye-opening visit 👓 from Lesley at EyeCoast Mobile Optometry for a special experience with the children.

Lesley spoke with the children about their eyes and vision, and also conducted individual eye examinations for each child. It was a wonderful way to support children’s health and wellbeing.

This week we welcomed Rackley’s Swimming Coomera to Wattle Montessori this week for a water safety talk with the children. Through fun activities and discussion, the children learned important pool and surf safety messages in an engaging and age-appropriate way. Thank you to the Rackley’s team for visiting our centre.

We had such a special visit at Wattle Montessori this morning 🚓👮🚨

Our children had a wonderful time dressing up, exploring the police car, asking lots of questions, and seeing the lights and sirens up close. It was a fun experience that gave the children the opportunity to learn more about the important role police play in helping our community.

We are so grateful to Kane and Taylor for taking the time to visit and create such a memorable morning for the children.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Easter Bonnet Parade, afternoon tea and Easter activities at Wattle Montessori 🐰🌼

It was a beautiful afternoon and so lovely to see the children proudly wearing their bonnets, taking part in the activities and enjoying time together with their friends and families.
