Growing in Faith, Friendship & Hope ✨

Our BCE Formation Day excursions provided a wonderful opportunity for our students to grow in faith, strengthen friendships and discover messages of hope and resilience.

Primary Day 🌟
Our Year 5 students explored what it means to have Jesus as a friend who walks alongside us through life’s ups and downs. Guided by the energetic team from Ignite Youth, students took part in games, worship, storytelling and reflection activities, helping them discover Jesus as a friend who journeys with them each day.

Secondary Day 🙏
Our Year 9 and 10 students were inspired by Fr Rob Galea, who shared his powerful story of faith, resilience and the challenges we all face. Through his message, students were reminded that there is always hope, even during difficult times.

A meaningful day of faith, connection and reflection for our students. Thank you to and Jason for an incredible day.

Learning through Faith ✨

As part of their Religion learning about the Life and Teachings of Jesus, our Year 3 students visited the Stations of the Cross, taking time to thoughtfully reflect on Jesus’ final journey.

Through meaningful discussions and reflection, students explored the messages of faith, compassion, forgiveness and love that continue to inspire Christians today.

This special learning experience helped deepen their understanding of Jesus’ life and the significance of his teachings in our daily lives.

Starting Strong 🏀

Our Sports Development Squads are starting the day strong with early-morning training sessions, demonstrating the dedication and commitment it takes to continually develop as athletes.

Whether they’re hitting the courts or putting in the work in the gym, our students are focused on improving their skills, building confidence and taking their performance to the next level.

These sessions provide valuable opportunities for our students to challenge themselves, develop their abilities and continue striving for excellence both on and off the court.

Shakespeare from Page to Stage 🎭

Our Senior English students recently enjoyed an engaging incursion from Shake & Stir Theatre Company, bringing their study of Shakespeare to life through dynamic and thought-provoking performances.

Year 10 students experienced Romeo and Juliet, Year 11 explored Smile & Be a Villain, and Year 12 saw Othello brought vividly to life.

This enriching experience provided students with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Shakespeare’s works beyond the classroom, with particular value for our Year 12 students as they continue to explore Othello in preparation for their upcoming External Assessment Exam.

Learning Through Culture and Connection 🌿

Our Year 2 students enjoyed a wonderful excursion to the Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre, deepening their understanding and appreciation of First Nations culture and traditions.

Throughout the day, students learnt a traditional dance, listened to Dreaming stories, explored the deep importance of connection to Country, and experienced the beautiful tradition of having ochre painted on their skin.

Through this meaningful and engaging experience, students were encouraged to approach learning with respect and curiosity while developing a deeper appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of Australia.

Preparing for Life Beyond School 🌟

Our Year 12 students recently took part in the Red Frogs Life After School Program, exploring the skills and knowledge needed to confidently navigate life beyond the classroom.

From managing finances and building healthy relationships to supporting mental wellbeing and making positive choices, students engaged in meaningful conversations about the opportunities and challenges ahead.

Experiences like these empower our students to step into their future with confidence, resilience and purpose.

Celebrating 100 Days of Prep 🎉

Our Prep students are officially 100 days older and wiser. We had a wonderful time celebrating this special milestone with a range of fun and engaging activities all centred around the number 100.

From counting and creating to learning and playing, the day was filled with excitement, laughter and plenty of opportunities to celebrate just how far our students have come.

To finish the celebrations, the children enjoyed a special pizza party together, the perfect way to mark such a memorable occasion.

We are so proud of how much our Prep students have learned, grown and achieved during their first 100 days of school.
