Congratulations to School Captain John Phan and Academic Captain Audrae Borlado on recently representing TAS at the Ergon Energy Young Leaders Breakfast.
The annual event brings together students and a panel of inspiring young local leaders, providing valuable insights into leadership, career pathways, and the importance of perseverance and personal growth. Through engaging discussions and shared experiences, students are encouraged to explore their potential and pursue success within their chosen industries.
John and Audrae embraced this opportunity to learn from emerging leaders across our region, gaining perspectives that will help shape their own leadership journeys.

As part of their three-day Outdoor Education program at Camp Paterson in Mareeba, our Year 3 students participated in a range of hands-on learning experiences designed to introduce aquatic awareness, environmental exploration and creativity, while also fostering personal organisation and teamwork skills.
During their time at camp, students were also privileged to take part in a special Welcome to Country and cultural learning session led by TAS parent Rachael Burgess and her mother, Pat. Students from both campuses engaged thoughtfully, asking insightful questions and deepening their understanding of local Indigenous culture, history and connection to Country.
A heartfelt thank you to Rachael and Pat for generously sharing their knowledge and stories with our students, and for helping create such a meaningful learning experience.
