Friday 9th December Coomandook Area School held it's 60th Anniversary celebrations.

The event bought together Former Principals, past and present teachers, parents and students past and present. The day incuded registration and Assembly in the gym for the Public which included:

Graduation of the Kindergarten class
Presentation of Acheivement for Students
Graduation of Year 12 Students
Performances from the Music Students and Choir.

The Honourable Governor Frances Adamson, MP's Tony Pasin and Adrian Pederick (CAS O/S), Local Mayor Paul Smmons (CAS O/S) and Lisa Rowntree were also present.

Meet the Crows' third selection in the AFLW draft

Today is our first day learning from home. Years 7-12 students have access to their normal lessons each day via Daymap. If your child is having issues with this, we have skeleton staff at school who will try and help. Please call the school if you are experiencing any issues.

As you are probably aware, today the SA government announced level 4 restrictions. At this current time, learning is still at school, masks are not required, playschools can continue and interschool sports are cancelled for the meantime. Access to the school should be limited to staff, students and essential services. We ask that if your child is feeling unwell that they stay home and it is vital that students take home necessary materials to prepare for any adaptions to restrictions. Thank you.

The SA government today announced further restrictions for our state today which includes a 7-day lockdown. Schools are open to children of essential workers and we will provide a skeleton staff for adequate supervision. Tomorrow is classed as a PFD to assist staff in preparing for online learning. Students in our middle school (7-9) today took home their laptops to assist in online learning needs. Please contact us if you have any queries.
