🌿 Donations Needed 🌿

We're looking to add more natural and loose parts to our learning environments and mud kitchen, and we'd love your help!

If you have any of the following you'd be happy to donate, we'd be so grateful:
• Corks
• Pinecones
• Gum nuts
• Shells
• Smooth rocks and pebbles
• Wooden rounds or small tree stumps (safe for children to use as seats)
• Any other natural materials suitable for children's play and exploration

Come on down to Building Blocks Childcare, 14 Baron Street, Cooma and check out the amazing range of warm clothing and blankets generously donated by our wonderful community. 💙

We have:
🧥 Jackets and jumpers
🧤 Gloves and beanies
🧣 Scarves
🧦 Socks
🛏️ Blankets and more!

Everything is available for anyone in the community who may need a little extra warmth this winter.

We are absolutely blown away by the generosity and kindness shown by our amazing community during our Winter Clothing Drive! 🧣🧤❄️

The amount of donations received has been incredible and is so greatly appreciated. Every beanie, blanket, jumper, pairs of socks, and warm items donated will help support those in need throughout the colder months.

Thank you to every family, local business, and community member who has contributed — your kindness truly makes a difference. 🫶

📍 We can’t wait to see you all tomorrow 9th of May! outside the Building Blocks Centre!

Any remaining donations left over after the event will be taken through to Mission Australia so they can continue helping those in need within our wider community. 💙

Today, we pause to remember and honour the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country.

We reflect on their courage, resilience, and the freedoms we enjoy because of them.

As a centre, we also take time to gently share the meaning of this day with our children—through respect, remembrance, and gratitude. ❤️

Guess what… our Craft Library has had a BIG refresh and is now bursting with fun, creativity, and inspiration! 🎨🧵✂️

From colourful papers and crafty bits to exciting materials ready to spark little imaginations — it’s all been restocked and ready to go!

🕖 Open daily from 7:00am – 6:00pm
Come explore, create, and take something home to enjoy together!

We LOVE seeing the children’s creativity come to life, and our craft library is the perfect place to inspire:

Firstly hello! I’m Amber the new director of Building Blocks Childcare! 🤗

Dear Families and Community,

As the colder months approach, Building Blocks Cooma is excited to share that we will soon be holding our Annual Winter Weather Clothing Drive-By! 🧣🧤

We are currently seeking donations of winter essentials to support local families in need. If you have any items you would like to contribute (such as jackets, jumpers, blankets, beanies, or warm clothing), we would greatly appreciate your support.
