What to expect in a class:
Cooma Pilates Matwork classes are performed on a mat, with the occasional use of small Pilates props, and all equipment is provided. Classes are a supportive space to show up, move your body, and work at your own pace in a welcoming group environment. Movements are simple and effective, guided by the core Pilates principles of concentration, control, precision, alignment, breath, and flow. It’s also a chance to tune into your body and move in a way that feels good, while supporting better posture.

Hi, I’m Millie - the instructor behind Cooma Pilates. I’ve called Cooma home for over 20 years and love sharing my passion for Pilates with the local community. I’m a diploma-qualified Pilates instructor, and I’m passionate about helping people build strength, improve posture, and feel good in their body. If you’ve been thinking about trying Pilates, now is a great time to give it a go. It’s a chance to tune into your body, focus on your movement and breathing, and a regular practice can have a really positive impact on your overall wellbeing. Matwork Pilates classes are run from the Cooma Anglican Church Hall every Monday. A full-body workout focused on strength, posture, alignment and breath through controlled, mindful movement. Classes are designed to be supportive, structured and suitable for all levels - with all equipment provided. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re just starting or returning to Pilates.
