Coolum Aquatic Centre Open to the public 7 days with heated pools all year round. The Water Park is suitable for all ages.

Situated on the David Low Way the Coolum Aquatic Complex is open to the public 7 days a week with heated pools all year round. Our very successful Learn to Swim program has classes for all age groups starting with little babies and including adults. With Aqua Aerobics, Adult Squad and Competitive Squads we have fitness activities for all ages. Our fun pool inflatables are on during the holidays as

well as available for party bookings. So come along and test our waters – you're in for a splashing good time!

🏊 WORLD DROWNING PREVENTION DAY 2026 🏊

Drowning is an issue that affects every nation of the world. Globally, more than 300,000 people lose their lives to drowning every year. Drowning predominately impacts children and young people, and in Australia, hundreds of families lose loved ones to drowning every year.

Because drowning predominantly impacts children and young people, At BlueFit we are taking this opportunity to remind families of our supervision policies, which are in place to help keep our community safe in and around the water.

What you need to know:
👶 Children aged 0–5 and all non swimmers: Must be within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian at all times. This means the adult must be actively in the water with the child.
🧍‍♀️ Children aged 6–10: Must be closely and actively supervised. Maintain constant visual contact and be ready to enter the water.
⛔️ Minimise distractions: Put away mobile phones, avoid lengthy conversations, and stay clear of any distractions that can cause a fatal lapse in attention.

Every small step we individually take can help save lives.

💙 You can also join the global movement to promote water safety by Going Blue! On the 25th of July, we encourage our community to show their support by wearing blue to the pool, whether it is a blue swimsuit, blue swim cap, or simply bringing a blue towel.

🐎🏊 A huge welcome to the teams from the Tetrathlon Series – UK, USA, IRL & NZ!

It has been our pleasure to welcome these incredible athletes to our pool earlier this month, as they prepared for competition. We wish every competitor the very best of luck over the coming days!

For those who haven't heard of it before, a Tetrathlon is an exciting four discipline event that tests athletes across swimming, running, shooting, and horse riding. It requires dedication, versatility, and determination, making it a truly unique competition.

Thank you for choosing our facility as part of your training journey. We hope you've enjoyed your time with us, and we're cheering you on every step of the way.
