So good to be back with my little people after a couple of weeks away…and the weather has been kind enough to us to spend lots of time in the outdoor area. And Christmasnis coming, time to start making decorations and pressure!🎄🎅🏾🧑‍🎄🎁

A lot of changed has come to my little daycare. After having to make the really hard decision to close down in Perth due to ill health, I’ve had six months off and am finally fit and well again. It’s been a journey, and in no small way I owe my recovery to all the rest and relaxation I was afforded by my time in beautiful Port Headland. The town and my time here has been a beautiful surprise and I love it here.

I miss the children I cared for a LOT, and the regular contact of a couple of mumma friends I made along the way. I’ve come to the conclusion that looking after little ones is somehow woven into my DNA and I miss it. Having said that, I’ve decided to do what I love again and reopen in the town of purpetual summer and warmth, which is very good for one’s soul. Thus, Headland Family Daycare is being birthed.

It’s going to look different than my Perth daycare, very different in fact, nonetheless I’m quietly excited with the anticipation of what might be.

I sincerely appreciate all the love and support I’ve received over the last six months from family and friends. Being so unwell with for that first couple of months was tough. The idea of not going back to work and “retiring” was definitely appealing, but I have to do what I love doing. I hope you will support me in my new endeavour. 🦋💙
