WA Parents Are Choosing Schools That Reflect Their Values ❤️📚

It’s inspiring to see that more and more Western Australian parents are taking their children’s education into their own hands — literally “voting with their feet.” 👣

A new report shows that over 3,650 new students joined Independent Schools in WA this past year alone!

Families are making thoughtful choices — finding schools that match their values, faith, culture, and children’s individual learning needs.

From small Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community schools in the Kimberley, to faith-based schools here in Perth and regional WA (like our own amazing ones in the Goldfields 💛) — Independent schools are playing a vital role in giving every child the chance to flourish. 🌿

Even though Independent schools receive around half the government funding of public schools, families are still choosing them because they offer something money can’t buy — connection, community, and values-based education. 🙌

WA now leads the nation in Independent school growth — proving that when parents are given choice, they choose what’s best for their children’s hearts and futures.

Let’s celebrate the schools that shape confident, compassionate young people who make a difference in our communities. 🌏

We were thrilled to host Mark from Yalagan Registered Training for an unforgettable Career Taster Experience in Working at Heights and Confined Spaces!
Our Year 9–12 students had the unique opportunity to explore the wide range of careers where these essential skills are applied. Under Mark’s expert guidance, they participated in a hands-on practical session, learning the ropes (literally!) of working safely in challenging environments.

🚴‍♀️💚 Ride4Life Visits CAPS Coolgardie!

After riding 140km in a day, the amazing Ride4Life team stopped by Coolgardie to share an inspiring message with our hostel students. These four women are pedalling Australia’s first quad tandem bike from Perth to Sydney — raising funds and awareness for mental health through Gotcha4Life.

God bless this team on their 4,000km journey — making a difference one pedal at a time! 🙏✨
