We’ve got some exciting news - We're ranked the top 3 Kool Kidz Service in our network! 🌟

It’s been a huge year for us at Kool Kidz Coolaroo, and we’re so proud to let our community know that we received 90% in our recent service evaluation! 🎉

This result puts us in the Top 3 Kool Kidz services out of 16, which feels pretty incredible. We were ranked #1 for Leadership and Staffing, and came 2nd for Quality of Education, Environment and Facilities, and Business Operations and Compliance with scores up to 97%.

These results mean a lot to us because they reflect the hard work our team puts in every single day and the trust and support we get from our children and families. Every smile, every conversation, every moment spent learning and growing together has helped us get here.

We just wanted to take a moment to share this win with you all. Thank you for being such an important part of our community. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and excited for everything still ahead. We had a small celebration for all our staff to show our appreciation and achievement! 💛

Children's Week - Children's Rights 🌍

Our Kinder rooms celebrated Children’s Week, a special time dedicated to recognising the rights of all children, as outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Throughout the week, we explored what it means to have rights and why they are so important. The children shared thoughtful ideas about rights they could relate to such as the right to feel safe, the right to an education, to play, to be loved, and to be heard. We focused on Article 42, we focused on teaching children about their rights.

Each room took part in meaningful and creative activities to help bring these ideas to life. One group created a Children’s Rights Basket, choosing items that represent things every child needs like food, water, clothing, and names and shared why these were important.

Caterpillars group explored Children’s Rights and the Environment, drawing their favourite outdoor places and talking about their right to a clean and safe world to play in.

In the Butterflies Room, children looked at pictures showing different rights and discussed what they meant to them, before enjoying a Show and Tell session that encouraged confidence, communication, and respect for one another and talking about why that object is important to them and why they like it.

It was wonderful to see the children’s curiosity, empathy, and sense of fairness shine through as they learned that every child has rights and every voice matters!

From beautiful decorations and traditional outfits to delicious homemade treats and joyful smiles, our Kool Kidz family came together to honour the spirit of togetherness, positivity, and new beginnings. 🌼✨

Limited spots for our 2026 Kindergarten program! 🌱

Step into our kinder room and you’ll see more than just play - you’ll see children actively shaping their day, making choices, building relationships, and expressing themselves in meaningful ways.

From our interactive routine wall (designed by the children, for the children) to their very own Kindergarten Routine Book filled with drawings, reflections and real voices - every part of the room tells their story.

One of our favourite feature? The wall of teacher portraits, beautifully drawn by the children themselves. These artworks say so much about the trust, connection and belonging they feel here. 💛

The children also have their own sign-in and sign-out wall, where they begin and end their day with a sense of ownership and belonging. Throughout the day, they move their own photos around the room to choose where they’d like to play. This not only encourages independence and decision-making, but also helps build empathy, respect, and care for others as they learn to negotiate space, share, and consider the needs of their peers.

🦷 Teeth on Wheels Visit 🚐✨

Today was an exciting day for our children as Teeth on Wheels came in for their dental check-ups! 😁 The children were incredibly brave and full of enthusiasm as they had their teeth checked by the friendly dental team. Some children remembered their previous visit and were excited to tell them how much they are taking care of their teeth now.

Throughout the day, they chatted confidently about their daily dental routines and showed off their knowledge about oral hygiene with the dentists. It was heartwarming to hear them talk about how they care for their teeth at home!

Each child received their very own toothbrush, cool stickers, and special instructions on how to keep their smiles healthy and bright.

The team also had a great conversation with the children about “everyday foods” vs. “sometimes foods”, helping them understand how nutrition plays an important role in caring for our teeth.
