There was so much excitement in our Kinder Room today as the children welcomed our newly hatched chicks!

Through this hands-on learning experience, the children will observe the incredible life cycle of a chicken—from egg to hatching and growth. They will also learn about gentle care, responsibility and respect for living things.

We can’t wait to watch our fluffy little visitors grow over the coming days! 🐥💛

CELEBRATING OUR AMAZING KINDER TEAM!

Today we are celebrating a very special achievement from our Kinder team - Dee, Steph, Debra, Nicole S, as well as our KIS AA Zina - who achieved an incredible 5/5 in their practice observations with our Head Office team!

A 5/5 is more than just a score. It reflects the dedication, teamwork, preparation, intentional teaching and genuine care that these educators bring into the Kinder room every single day. ❤️

Our Kinder team have continued to work hard, support one another, reflect on their practice and strive to provide the very best learning experiences for your children. Their commitment to creating an environment where children feel safe, confident, valued and inspired to learn truly shines through.

What makes this achievement even more special is the teamwork behind it. Dee, Steph, Debra and Nicole S. have worked together for a long time, shared ideas, supported each other and continued to challenge themselves to grow as educators and teachers.

This result is a wonderful reflection of the passion they have for their work and the high expectations they hold for themselves and for the children in their care.

Dee, Steph, Debra & Nicole S. - you should be incredibly proud of yourselves! You have put in the effort, you have backed each other, and you absolutely deserve this recognition!

YOU SET THE STANDARD — 5/5! 🌟

And a huge shout-out to our Honeybees, Dragonflies, Butterflies, Ladybugs and Caterpillars teams too! Your efforts and commitment throughout the practice observations have been amazing. You were so close, and we are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication you continue to show, scoring 4.5. Keep going - your efforts are making a difference!

Please join us in giving our wonderful teams a HUGE congratulations!

We are so proud of you!

🚲🚦 Stop, look, and listen! Our little road safety superstars had an absolute blast on their excursion to the Essendon Traffic School today!
From pedaling through mini intersections and obeying real traffic lights to practicing safe zebra crossings and even making a quick stop at the pretend petrol station—every moment was packed with learning and laughter. It is such a fantastic, hands-on way to build confidence and learn important road rules through play!
A huge thank you to the amazing staff for showing us around and to our wonderful helpers for making the day run so smoothly.
