🎨 REMINDER – ART SHOW HELPERS NEEDED! 🎨

The Up2Date Art Exhibition opens this week, and we still have some front door volunteer shifts to fill.

🚪 Front Door / Entry Support
📅 Saturday 29 August – Sunday 13 September
📍 Up To Date Store, Coolamon

Shifts are just 2 hours:
🕙 10am–12pm
🕛 12pm–2pm
🕑 2pm–4pm

👯 Each shift is rostered for two people — so grab a friend and do it together!

While on the front door, volunteers will:
🎟️ Welcome visitors and assist with entry
🎨 Help visitors with general Art Show enquiries
🎫 Sell raffle tickets
🙌 Help keep the exhibition running smoothly, with the support of the Art Show Committee representatives.

💛 This is a major fundraiser for our local schools, and every shift helps us support this wonderful community event.

🎨 Up2Date Art Show & YIELD Festival 🎨

Preparations are well underway for the Up2Date Art Show & YIELD Festival, one of our major annual P&C fundraisers supporting our local schools.

A huge thank you to our wonderful CCS volunteers who helped with unpacking and hanging the artwork:

💛 Kaarin, Mez, Alicia, Carla, Fabien, Leonie, Sophie, Tahlena, Tom, Carly, Georgia, Lyn, Nat, Bryan and Ryan.

We also extend a big thank you to the volunteers from Marrar and Ganmain schools, along with the many community volunteers who came together to help prepare the exhibition.

There is a huge amount of work involved behind the scenes, and it was fantastic to see everyone working together to bring the Art Show to life. We really appreciate everyone who gave their time. 🙌

Our latest P&C update is now available!

Here's a snapshot of what's been happening:
👏 Welcome to our 2026/2027 CCS P&C Executive and a heartfelt thank you to our outgoing Executive members for their dedication and service.

💰 A look back at the 2025–2026 financial year, including:
🎉 $14,228.85 raised through fundraising
💛 $6,950 invested back into our students and school
👧 Sponsorship of 8 individual students
🏆 Support for 3 representative teams
🏫 Funding for 2 school projects

🏫 School updates, including:
• 2027 uniform rollout
• Traffic safety advocacy
• Hall technology upgrades
• Sports Assembly sponsorship
• Water fountain grant update

🌭 Thank you to everyone who made our Bunnings BBQ such a success!

🎨 Planning continues for the Up2Date Art Show & Yield Festival, with volunteers still needed.

💙💛 CCS P&C AGM – Thank You & Welcome! 💛💙

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Annual General Meeting.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on another successful year, celebrate what we've achieved together, and look ahead to an exciting year of supporting our students and school community.

Congratulations to our newly elected Executive:

⭐ Vice Presidents: Matt Talbot & Jess Sloan
⭐ Treasurer: Carly Talbot

We'd also like to sincerely thank our outgoing Executive members – Katie Francis, Kate Mills, Laura Munro and Sean – for their dedication, leadership and countless volunteer hours over the past few years. Your commitment has helped deliver fundraising initiatives, grants, school projects and events that have benefited our entire school community. Thank you for everything you've contributed.

Our Secretary position remains vacant, and we'd love to hear from anyone interested in joining our friendly committee. If you're organised, enjoy working as part of a team, or simply want to become more involved in our school community, we'd love to chat. No previous experience is necessary, and plenty of support is available.

🌭💙 Thank You for Supporting Our CCS P&C Bunnings BBQ! 💙🌭

What a fantastic day!

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered, stopped by for a sausage sandwich or drink, and helped make our Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser such a success. Every purchase and every hour volunteered helps us continue supporting our students and school community.

A special thank you to our incredible volunteers:

👏 Amanda, Sam, Katie, Nigel, Georgia, Chris, Bron, Matt, Brooke, Valerie, Mel, Sophie, Shaela, Mez and Ben.

Your generosity, teamwork and willingness to give your time are what make events like this possible.
