Heather has been a dedicated member of the Coolah Central School community for well over 40 years. Her journey with Coolah Central School began when she attended as a student. After school, she attended University and TAFE. She then worked in various positions in Coolah at the Shire and a Stock and Station Agency, before beginning her longstanding position at Coolah Central School from 1982. In this time, Heather has demonstrated compassion and commitment to the students and families of our Coolah community. Miss Spence is well known for her contribution to the school in the areas of the library and technology. She has ensured that all assemblies, presentation evenings and days and whole school performances have gone off without a hitch, as well as keeping all technology in the school up to date as it rolled out over the years. Her true passion lies in her unwavering devotion to assembling and organising the school’s historical archives (keeper of all historical knowledge). In recognition of Heather’s incredible career and contribution to the Department of Education, today she was presented with her ‘40 Years of Service Certificate’.
