A big Thank you to Condobolin High School for welcoming our children for such a wonderful morning of fun, learning and cultural connection! ❤️

The children had an amazing time participating in the activities and learning more about Aboriginal culture through Wiradjuri Bingo, traditional games, stories, art and craft. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to connect, learn and share experiences together.

The delicious cupcakes and beautiful calico gift bags were such a lovely surprise! 🧁🎨🖤💛❤️

We truly appreciate the time, effort and care that went into creating such a meaningful experience for our children. We look forward to more opportunities to learn, connect and celebrate culture together! 🌿

Have you noticed something happening at Lachlan Children’s Services this week?

Dooleys Outdoors has begun construction of the new playground, which aims to create an improved outdoor space for children to learn, play and explore.

The project has been designed to support children’s development through active, sensory and creative play, with the inclusion of the following features:
- Yarning Circle and Storytelling Chair
- Mud Kitchen and Vertical Play Walls
- Climbing, Teepee, and Rope
- Waterplay, Sandpit, and Garden Areas
- Open Play Areas

LCS celebrate Working with Children Week 2026!

Child-safe recruitment doesn’t stop when we appoint someone in the role. It starts before they begin and continues once they’re in the role, through induction, supervision, training and ongoing support. Safe teams are built over time. This Working with Children Week, we’re celebrating smarter, safer recruitment to create safe environments for your child.

Staff Update @ LCS!

We are excited to share that Tyra Spicer will be joining us as a Trainee Educator starting Monday 15 June and Meagan Dodgson has accepted a permanent part-time position at our service!

Tyra is looking forward to getting to know all of our children, families, and educators as she begins her journey with us. During her traineeship, she will be learning valuable skills and gaining hands-on experience while supporting our team in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children.

Many of our children and families already know Meagan and the positive relationships she has built within our community. Her caring nature, dedication, and enthusiasm make her a valued member of our team, and we are thrilled that she will continue to be a familiar and consistent presence for our children.
We are also excited to announce that Meagan will be commencing her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. This is a wonderful step in her professional journey, and we look forward to supporting her as she further develops her knowledge and skills within the early childhood sector.

We are delighted to share some wonderful news with our community!

Miss Tripti will be transitioning into the role of Early Childhood Teacher (ECT). This is an exciting step in her professional journey and a reflection of her dedication, passion, and commitment to providing high-quality education and care for children.

Many of you already know Tripti and have seen the positive relationships she has built with children, families, and educators. In her new role, she will continue to support children's learning and development while taking on additional responsibilities in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.

We are excited to see Tripti step into this role and know that her passion, knowledge, and commitment to early childhood education will continue to be a wonderful asset to our children, families, and team.

Mother’s Day Morning Tea

What a fantastic turnout for our Morning Tea this morning!

We were so excited to see Mums, Aunties and Nans join us for some yummy treats, fun activities and wonderful social interactions with the children and educators. The rooms were filled with smiles, laughter and lots of special moments shared together, making the morning such a lovely celebration for all involved. The children were so proud to show their special people around, participate in activities together and enjoy spending quality time with their families in our learning environment.

We are so grateful for all the fantastic support we received from everyone for our Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser. Your generosity, kindness and community spirit helped make the event a huge success and will contribute towards a very important cause.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated and helped make the morning so memorable. We truly appreciate the ongoing support from our wonderful families and community. We hope all our amazing Mums, Aunties, Nans and special loved ones have a beautiful Mother’s Day filled with love, laughter, relaxation and plenty of spoiling on Sunday!
