Working together with Act for Kids, and presented by Nathan Gallagher, this session will help you understand how we support children to feel safe, confident and aware, along with simple ways you can continue these important conversations at home.

What you’ll learn:
✔ Understand what your child is learning incentre about protective behaviours in a calm, age-appropriate way
✔ Learn simple language and strategies you can use at home to continue these conversations with confidence
✔ Build your child’s sense of safety, voice and self-awareness

At First Grammar Childcare, we are working with leading child protection organisation Act for Kids to implement a Protective Behaviours Education program.

Keeping children safe, emotionally and physically, is at the heart of everything we do.

The age-appropriate Learn to be Safe with Emmy & Friends program is designed to support children’s understanding of personal safety in a calm, positive and reassuring way.

This program has been carefully designed to be gentle, empowering and play-based, supporting children to build simple language, confidence and awareness around safety.
