A Little Café Adventure ☀️☕️

Our children at RS Gregory Hills had the best time on their excursion to Parx Cafe Gregory Hills 💛

We were so warmly welcomed, and the café kindly provided each child with their very own colouring sheet to enjoy while they sipped on a lovely babyccino. 🎨☕️

To top off our little adventure, we headed to the nearby playground and enjoyed some outdoor play and sunshine. 🌳☀️

What a beautiful day filled with community connections, creativity, delicious babyccinos and lots of fun! 💕

✨On Monday evening, our GH1 and GH2 teams came together for an informative and engaging workshop, “Numeracy in Action Around Road Safety Education”.⚠️⛔️🚦

It was a wonderful opportunity for our educators to explore how we can support children to develop their numeracy skills while learning important road safety concepts.🚸

We loved looking at how learning doesn’t always need to happen around a table or through a worksheet. Numeracy is everywhere! From counting steps at a pedestrian crossing and recognising numbers on signs, identifying patterns in traffic lights and discussing shapes, position and direction - everyday experiences provide so many opportunities for children to learn.

A big thank you to the Kids and Traffic program, funded Macquarie University and Transport for NSW, for such an informative and practical workshop. We’re excited to put our learning into action and share these wonderful ideas with our families.

Today, our 0–2 years children from Gregory Hills Two enjoyed a fun Mess it Up session! 🧡

The children explored a variety of messy play experiences, using their senses to investigate different textures, colours, and materials. Through hands-on exploration, they developed their curiosity, fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence while engaging with their peers in a safe and playful environment.

Messy play provides valuable opportunities for children to learn through exploration, experimentation, and discovery, all while having lots of fun!

Our children had a roaring good time during our Mess It Up Dinosaur Incursion! They enjoyed exploring, creating, getting messy, and learning all about dinosaurs through hands-on play. 🌋

🌱🪴 Little Hands, Big Garden Adventures! 🌼💚

Today, our Creators became little gardeners as they explored our tuff tray garden! 🌿 They used gardening tools, planted seeds, and watered their plants with excitement and curiosity.

This hands-on experience encouraged children to connect with nature, care for living things, and learn how plants grow—all while having lots of fun! 🌸🌞

✨ Gregory Hills Two EOFY Celebration ✨

We went out together to celebrate 5 months of being open! 🥳

The majority of our team joined us for a lovely dinner and a fun night of socialising together locally in Camden. 🥰

We are truly blessed with such a dedicated and experienced team, who show flexibility and tenacity every day they come to work. We are so grateful for the passion, commitment and energy they bring to our centre and the children each day. ❤️

Last week, our Raising Stars Moss Vale team came together to celebrate the end of our very first fantastic financial year! 🎉
