Our children in Five Dock recently celebrated National Vegemite Day by learning about Australia's iconic spread, Vegemite! They enjoyed a fun chef demonstration, watched how a classic butter and Vegemite sandwich is made, and then tasted it together for afternoon tea.

A delicious way to explore Australian culture, try new foods, and build confidence through hands-on learning! 💛✨

🍲❄️ Our Winter Menu Has Arrived at Moss Vale! ❄️

This week, we officially began serving our delicious winter menu, and it has been a big hit with the children! There’s nothing better than enjoying a warm, nutritious meal on a chilly day, and as always, Miss Michelle has been busy creating meals that are both healthy and full of flavour.

From hearty lunches to comforting afternoon teas, our winter menu is designed to keep little tummies full and happy while supporting children's growth and wellbeing.

The children are already sharing their favourites, and we'd love to hear from our families too!

✨Sponsor Day for Gledswood Hills Netball Club at the Narellan Sports Hub💙✨

Today, Lara, Bree, Grace and Jess proudly supported the U8s game and celebrated their fantastic win with some freshly baked cookies! 🍪🏐 It was wonderful to see the children enjoying their game, demonstrating teamwork, determination and sportsmanship. 💪

The team also had the opportunity to connect with local families and share information about Raising Stars ELC with prospective families in the community.

Thank you to Rhonda and the Gledswood Hills Hurricanes Netball Club for allowing us to come along and show our support. We loved being part of the day and supporting our local young athletes! 🎖️⭐💙

✨ Last week, we came together for a valuable leadership meeting with Gift - our Operations Manager, Josh - our Head of Pedagogy, and all of the Educational Leaders from our 3 centres: Gregory Hills 1, Gregory Hills 2, and Moss Vale.

It was an impactful day filled with collaboration, sharing ideas, and meaningful discussions. Together, we explored ways to better understand children's functioning skills, how to effectively support children through challenges, and how we can continue empowering our teams to provide the best possible outcomes for every child.

We also reflected on the importance of maintaining a quality learning program, something that sits at the heart of our philosophy and is a key part of what makes Raising Stars ELC stand out. ⭐

Days like these remind us of the value of continuous learning, teamwork, and our shared commitment to providing exceptional education and care for all children.

Our children at Raising Stars Early Learning Centre Five Dock enjoyed a fun and engaging Japanese Four Seasons Incursion, learning about Japanese culture through storytelling, music, and interactive activities.

It was a wonderful opportunity to explore different traditions, spark curiosity, and celebrate cultural diversity while having lots of fun!🌿
