💐Our much-loved Spring Lunch brought our parent community together for a beautiful afternoon of delicious food, great company and lots of fun. It was such a wonderful way to celebrate the season and enjoy some time together! 🥂

This year, we were also delighted to bring back our tradition of collecting donations for Zonta House Refuge Association Inc which provides accommodation and specialist support to individuals, children and families impacted by family and domestic violence. ❤️ A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this meaningful cause. If you forgot to bring your donation on the day, it's not too late! Donations can still be dropped off at Main Administration.

🏅A huge congratulations to Year 12 students Jess and Joy, who were presented with their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's International Award certificates at Government House last week! 🌟

This incredible achievement reflects years of dedication, perseverance and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones. Having progressed through the Bronze and Silver Awards, Jess and Joy have continued to challenge themselves, embrace new experiences and make their own adventures. We are so proud of their commitment and determination. Congratulations, girls! ❤️

🇯🇵 A day to remember in Tokyo! 🌸

Our Junior School Japan Tour students received the warmest welcome at Toyo Eiwa Girls’ School, where classrooms were decorated with Australian flags and student work celebrating Perth and Australia. The day began with Chapel and a special Welcome Assembly, with our Penrhos girls performing a medley from The Little Mermaid and Toyo Eiwa students sharing traditional dances.

After lunch alongside more than 500 students in the school dining room, it was time for a Japanese matsuri (festival)! 🎎 Our girls dressed in yukata, tried calligraphy, took part in a tea ceremony and enjoyed traditional festival games.

A wonderful day of friendship, cultural exchange and making our own adventure in Japan. ✈️💚

🎨✨ Creativity, courage and imagination were on full display at our annual Creative Arts and Design Exhibition, Outbound!

Our talented Secondary School students proudly shared the results of a year of creativity and hard work across Art, Media, Design, Photography, Jewellery, Food, Textiles, and Children, Family and Communities. From bold ideas to beautifully crafted pieces, the exhibition was a wonderful celebration of our students exploring their passions and bringing their ideas to life.

What a weekend for Angela (Year 5)! 🏊‍♀️🥇

Angela delivered an outstanding performance at the WA Short Course State Championships, bringing home two gold and two bronze medals:
🥇 400m Freestyle
🥇 800m Freestyle
🥉 200m Butterfly
🥉 400m Individual Medley

Angela also broke two club records, including taking an incredible 23 seconds off the previous 800m Freestyle record! 🌟

… but the weekend wasn’t only about swimming. Angela dashed between events on Sunday to perform with our Junior Strings ensemble at the ABODA Orchestra Festival, all while wearing mismatched socks in support of the Autism Association of Western Australia. 🎻🧦

Congratulations, Angela! We love seeing her make her own adventure, embrace every opportunity and be a force for good. Next stop: the School Sport Australia Championships in Victoria this December. We’ll be cheering her on! ❤️💚

What a term it’s been! From the magic of our Junior and Secondary School productions and an unforgettable Music Gala Night, to fantastic performances at our interschool athletics carnivals and so many memorable moments in between.

We’re incredibly proud of everything our students have achieved and the courage, creativity and enthusiasm they’ve brought to another busy term at Penrhos.

Congratulations to Maddi (Year 10), Chelsea (Year 11), Matilda (Year 12), Ivy (Year 10), Elizabeth (Year 12) and Summer (Year 10) who were selected to represent the IGSSA AFL All-Stars team recently.

Selection into the IGSSA All-Stars is a prestigious honour, bringing together the top footballers from IGSSA schools to compete against the ACC and SSWA associations in a fierce, high-quality tri-association competition. It's a fantastic opportunity for our girls to showcase their skills in front of AFLW clubs and WAFC talent staff.

A huge achievement, well done!!
