📚✨ A Symphony of Stories at Colo Vale Public School! ✨📚

What a wonderful morning we shared at our Book Parade! It was fantastic to see our school community come together to celebrate this year’s theme, 'Symphony of Stories'.

A huge thank you to our parents and carers for the incredible time, effort and creativity that went into preparing costumes. Our students looked amazing, and their excitement and enthusiasm made the morning so special.

It was also lovely to see so many of our preschoolers and younger siblings joining in the parade fun — and even staying afterwards to enjoy story time and craft activities in our library.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped create such a joyful celebration of books, imagination and our school community.

What a wonderful way to celebrate our shared love of reading! 📖💙

Each week I have been visiting classrooms across the school to engage with our students and be part of their learning experiences. These visits give me a wonderful opportunity to observe the great work happening in our classrooms, celebrate achievements, and support our teachers and students.

Our recorder group had an amazing time at the cluster rehearsal held at Thirlmere Public School! They’re gearing up for an exciting performance at the Sydney Opera House later in the Term. Proud to see our students embodying HPGE – inspiring excellence every step of the way! 🎶✨

Last week Colo Vale PS joined over 7500 schools around Australia in showing our commitment to creating an environment where small acts have a big impact on preventing bullying as part of the National week of Action Against Bullying. Every day last week students had the opportunity to view short videos and discuss topics such as:

Day 1 – Small acts matter: Words and actions

Day 2 – Kindness creates impact, even the tiny moments

Day 3 – You have the power to make things better

Day 4 – Pause before you speak, text or communicate online

Day 5 – Together, our small actions create big change
