Happy Father’s Day from St Joseph’s!

This Father’s Day, we look to St Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus, as an example of what it means to love, protect, guide and nurture a child.

Joseph was a man of quiet strength and deep faith. He reminds us that fatherhood is found not only in providing, but in being present, showing compassion, leading with love and putting family first.

Today we celebrate and give thanks for all the fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers and father figures who help our children grow in faith, confidence and love.

This morning we hosted breakfast for all the dads and dad like figures in our school community. Our students look forward to our Father’s Day Breakfast of Bacon and Egg rolls, not just for the food, but also as is a chance to show “dad” what they do at school.
Some dads would have already received their gift that the students made for them, we hope you enjoyed them.

Thanks to all the dads, uncles, grand dads and father like figures who celebrated with us. We hope you rest well after the big play this morning

Thank you to Hazel Barnes who invited us in to her pop-up book store last week. We all got to pick a book, and in the words of a prep student, it was “the best book week ever”

As part of our Laudato Si action plan the entire school took advantage of some good weather yesterday during our Sustainability lesson to work on tidying up our environment.

A perfect day for the CDSSA Lightning Premiership at Coleraine Football Netball Club Inc.

Come up and watch students from St Joseph’s Coleraine, Sacred Heart Casterton, Coleraine Primary School, Merino Consolidated, Casterton Primary and Cavendish Primary have a fun day of football and netball.
