What a way to finish Term 3!

We ended the term on a great note yesterday with Hot Dog Day. Our Years 3/4 students also enjoyed having their sports day - with a big thank you to the Year 6 students who helped run the games so well.

Wishing all our families a safe and happy holiday break. See you in Term 4! 🌭

Book Week at Sacred Heart 📚

What a fantastic day we've had celebrating Book Week!

We kicked things off with a staff performance - our very own adaptation of John Lithgow's Never Play Music Right Next to the Zoo. 🎺🦁

Then came the parade, and wow - the costumes were incredible! A huge thank you to our students, parents and family members who so clearly put in an enormous amount of time and effort. The creativity on display was something else.

The day finished with classes joining up for a range of Book Week activities, always a highlight seeing our older and younger students working together.

A big thank you to our amazing librarian Yolanda and to everyone who helped create such a fantastic day!

Father's Day Breakfast – Volunteers Needed!

We're gearing up for our Father's Day Breakfast on Friday, September 4th, and we're looking for 4–5 volunteers to help out for just 1 hour, between 7:45am and 8:45am on the day. If you can lend a hand, we'd love to hear from you.

Also, a reminder for all the dads and special male figures planning to join us for breakfast: please RSVP via the survey on PAM so we can prepare catering numbers accurately.

☀️ 100 Days Brighter ☀️

A belated post, but our Preps' 100th Day of School was far too bright not to share!

100 days of learning, laughing, growing and shining, from first-day nerves to reading, writing and counting. What a difference 100 days makes. The future's looking very bright indeed.

A big thank you to our Prep teachers and families for making the day such a special one.

Father’s Day

Dads, grab your calendars. Friday 4th September, 8 am, is all about you!

Join us in the Multi-Purpose Room for a delicious breakfast, with the fantastic Lions Club firing up the BBQs to cook up sausages, hamburgers, and onions. Tea and coffee will be flowing to keep you fuelled.

Just like our much-loved Mother's Day celebration, we'll have a photo booth to capture the memories, board games for some friendly family fun and the opportunity to visit your child’s classroom. There will be table tennis in the courtyard, so bring your competitive spirit and see who's got the best backhand and an option to try your hand at baseball on the oval.

Come along, relax, and enjoy a morning celebrating our wonderful dads. More details to follow soon!

Happy School Principals Day, Karl! 🍎

Today we thank our Principal, Karl Dwyer for everything he does for Sacred Heart.

Karl is the first face at the gate in the morning and the last one to switch off the lights. He knows every student by name, supports his staff, and never loses sight of what matters most - the kids in our care.

Leading a school takes patience, humour, and a genuine heart for community. Karl brings all three, every single day.
