💐 It is with the heaviest of hearts we must let our community know of the sudden and tragic passing of Ms Kathryn Johns.

Kathryn was a pillar for our most vulnerable youth across the region - having not only taught generations of Colac & District families but also supporting hundreds of young people through her work with Brophy’s Youth Connections program, Barwon Youth Child & Family services and in recent years in her time at GOALS as our well-being coordinator.

Kathryn was a leading partner in the creation of GOALS, formally Turning Point, and its sister program Ignition Point in our early days. Without Kathryn’s passion and determination 11 years ago our program wouldn’t be where it is today.

There are not enough words to express how deeply this loss will be felt across our community.

Our thoughts and love are with her husband Michael, their children Damian & Hannah and her beloved grandson Freddy during this difficult time.

🌿 We’re Hiring – Groundskeeper/Maintenance (GOALS Campus, Colac) 🌿

Join our friendly team at GOALS in Colac!

We’re looking for someone hands-on to help keep our campus safe, tidy, and looking its best.

🗓 When: 1 Sept – 19 Dec 2025
⏰ Hours: 15 hrs/week
🛠 What you’ll do: Gardening, repairs, general maintenance, and event setups.
✅ Must have: Current Employee Working with Children Check (tools desirable but not essential)

The GOALS Campus supports young people aged 15–20 through a flexible learning program, and we’re after someone who’ll take pride in our environment and maybe even teach us some skills on the way!
