In a friendly and challenging environment, our school provides all students with the necessary skills required for a positive and rewarding start to their education. community. Our present school building was first occupied in 1978, and consists of a modern, flexible and open design. Good use is made of these facilities by various groups in the community. To complement the facilities and resources provided for Inclusion, Reading Recovery, Digital Technologies, Library, Music, Art/Craft and Physical Education. The school offers sequential courses of study for Foundation - Year 6 in English; Mathematics; Science; Technology; The Arts; Health and Physical Education; Humanities, Respectful Relationships and Language Other Than English. The school is well served by an active Parents' Club and School Council. Parents take an interest in their children's education, and many of them willingly involve themselves in school activities. Endeavours to broaden this participation, and further strengthen the communication between the home, the school and the community are constantly on our agenda. The school services a rural town (population approx 2 400), and it's surrounding district to a distance of about 25 Km. radius.

💛 Today the Grade 5/6 students created Wanted Posters of the qualities of a great friend and then took part in a special R U OK? Day Escape Room — a hands‑on challenge designed to help them learn how to check in with others in a meaningful way.
They worked through four themed rooms, each teaching an important step: Ask, Listen, Encourage Action, and Check In. Along the way they cracked codes, solved puzzles, collaborated, and supported each other to become RU OK SUPERHEROES🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️
It was a mix of fun and wellbeing education while helping the students understand that a simple “Are you OK?” can make a big difference. Proud of the empathy, teamwork, and kindness they showed today 💛
