Day 3 at AgQuip… let’s go!

It’s the final day here in Gunnedah and we’re ready for another big day of conversations at the BDC Horizon Online stand.

The first two days have been full of great chats with students, parents and grandparents from right across regional NSW, and we’re looking forward to meeting plenty more today.

Another great day of conversations at AgQuip, and another first for BDC Horizon Online!

One of the lovely grandparents of one of our current students dropped by and brought me lunch today. You can’t beat that for looking after your Head of School!

We chatted with families from Engadine, Tenterfield, Inverell, Ulladulla and plenty of places in between. Parents, grandparents and young people all stopped by to learn a little more about BDC Horizon Online, and we handed out plenty of information packs (with a few goodies tucked inside!).

The day finished with something pretty special too. I was invited out to see the custom agricultural stockfeed processing facility run by one of our Horizon families. Absolutely fascinating to see the operation up close, and I’ll be heading back there tomorrow with our student.

One of the best parts of AgQuip has been getting out, meeting families and seeing the places and communities our students are part of.

A great first day meeting families, students and people from across regional NSW and chatting about what BDC Horizon Online can offer. Some highlights were a chat with a caring mother from Narrabri, a great conversation with a parent of one of our High Performance golf students, having coffee brought to me in the morning and lunch later as well by another amazing parent of a student, and lots in between.
