A Journey Through History and Culture:
Last week Year 9 students headed out to investigate the rich history and Sikh influence in Woolgoolga. The overarching theme of the day was understanding exactly what "heritage" means and what better way to learn than by experiencing it firsthand. Our hosts were wonderful and the students had a great experience, we'll be visiting 'Woopi' again for sure!
Our newsletter has a great write up and photo's - emailed to families yesterday! Let us know if you don't have it.

Beyond the Banter is underway!
This week we held our first Beyond the Banter session, and it was a fantastic start to the program.
Beyond the Banter is an evidence-informed mentoring program developed by Allegra's Wellbeing Team to support our young men in building confidence, strengthening social skills, and developing positive peer relationships. Throughout the program, students will explore effective communication, teamwork, emotional awareness, and strategies for navigating social situations both at school and beyond.
Our first session was a positive experience, with students engaging thoughtfully, contributing to discussions, and beginning to build connections within the group. We look forward to seeing their growth over the coming weeks as they continue developing these important life skills.
