Our IEU students recently visited The Shoreline retirement home, where they connected with residents and built their communication and social skills through meaningful conversations. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they showed respect, kindness and genuine interest in others.
We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented Orara High School, and we thank The Shoreline residents and staff for their warm welcome and support.

Our Year 10 students recently had the opportunity to hear from Sarah from ETC, who shared valuable information about employment pathways, future study opportunities, and the support available to young people as they transition from school.
Students gained insight into the many options available after school and were encouraged to start thinking about their future goals and the steps they can take to achieve them. Thank you, Sarah and ETC, for helping inspire and inform our students!

Our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) students recently stepped into authentic leadership roles, planning and delivering engaging learning experiences for students at Narranga Public School.
The experience provided a fantastic opportunity for our students to develop their communication, teamwork, organisation, adaptability and mentoring skills. By leading activities, modelling positive learning behaviours and building connections with primary students, they strengthened their own capabilities while making a meaningful contribution to our local school community.
Thank you Narranga for having us, and well done to our HPGE students for their effort and enthusiasm!
